“I recently had cataract surgery on my left eye at Pima Eye Institute and Catalina Surgery Center with Dr. Lindsay Tavares. I have been under her care for around 20 years and have previously had cataract surgery on my right eye. Dr. Tavares is a very kind, caring person, and a pleasure to be a patient with. She is extremely competent as demonstrated by outstanding results with both surgeries. I now have nearly perfect vision and no longer need reading glasses. “On 24 June and 8 July, Dr. Lindsay Tavares performed cataract surgery on each of my eyes. Her staff was professional and supportive. Dr. Tavares explained surgery options, including a special lens, laser use, disappearance of my astigmatism and stent for draining eye fluid to help relieve my glaucoma eye pressure. The packet of pre-op info was most helpful, including the drops. The surgery staff were likewise very expert. Dr. Tavares explained what would happen during the surgery. Everything went exceptionally well. Each evening, Dr. Tavares called to check on me. In my next day post op follow up, Dr. Tavares explained how surgery recovery would go the next two weeks. I am most appreciative to her and her team for this successful experience.

I have worn glasses and contacts for over 60 years — no more! How incredible now to have 20/15 in each eye near and far vision, maybe reading glasses for computer screen distance, my astigmatism gone and my glaucoma numbers down several points. Thank you, Dr. Tavares!!”

“I had very strange viral eye infection and nobody could diagnose my conditions. I went to 5 different doctors, including eye specialist, urgent cares, and ER. Nobody didn’t even try to listen to me, few wrote a wrong records. Finally I got lucky to meet dr. Sanan. He is very attentive, polite, and professional. He prescribed me steroid eye drops, exactly as asked from 5 different drs and nobody honored my request, but wasted my 3weeks time and gave me wrong eye drops and caused even worse side effects. I would highly recommend dr. Sanan for your precious eye care. And also all stuff in office are really nice and professional. Everything is comfortable, not too long wait for eyes check up.”
